Finally found someone willing to help… so I was able to tweak the web apps site to look good on the iPhone/iTouch… even got the Web Clip icon looking good… so, I finally added the last missing piece, single point Bayesian… Now I have 6 months to find another free hosting site or somehow generate some revenue to pay for this baby:
As if I needed another reason why I will never post an application in Apple’s rip-off AppStore.
Apple extorts a 30 percent take of every sale made from its store.
My application sells for $25, so for every sale Apple gets $7.50.
But here’s the kicker: If Apple gives a full refund to the customer, it will expect the developer to reimburse Apple their original 30 percent take for the sale.
So essentially, if Joe iPhone plays with my $25 App for a while, decides he’s bored with it and manages to convince Apple to give him a full refund, they still charge me $7.50.
Apple is worse than Microsoft ever was.
