Pre-steady-state Bayesian analysis
If a pre-steady-state condition (based on the population model) is detected, two options for analysis are available:
To help your decision the dialog displays the percentage of model steady-state. For example, if the regimen is close to 90%, then you may choose to assume steady-state.
Analysis of serum levels prior to steady-state uses a Bayesian methodology. In order to accurately assess pre-steady-state data, the serum level at the start of the current regimen must be known.
Please note: regardless of which option is selected, analysis of serum level(s) drawn prior to steady-state is not nearly as accurate as a steady-state draw.
