To determine dose based on an AUC target:
| • | Click Tools then Targeted AUC dosing on the menu bar. |
Please note: until a dose and interval has been correctly entered, this option is disabled.
To use this tool:
| • | Enter the AUC:MIC target. |
| • | An ideal dose is then automatically calculated. |
| • | Enter a practical dose. |
| • | Click the Calculate button to determine: |
| • | Steady-state 24-hr AUC |
| • | Steady-state Peak |
| • | Steady-state Trough |
Click the Save button to save the entered dose.
