The databar is used to perform various database functions when editing the following tables:
Pausing the mouse pointer over an icon will display a tip describing its function.

Active databar icons are blue, disabled icons are "grayed-out".

First record
Records in the database are sorted by the order in which they were entered into the database. Click this icon to jump to the first record in the database.

Previous record
Click this icon to move to the previous record in the database.
|
|
|

|
Add a new record
Click the add icon to create a new blank record record.
|
|
|

|
Cancel changes
Click this icon to cancel changes to record data or to cancel entry of a new record.
|
|
|

|
Save record
Click this icon to save the current record record. This icon is only enabled during edit or add mode.

|

Edit record
To change record data, click the edit icon.
|
|
|

|
List records
Click the list icon to display an alphabetical list of records.
|
|
|

|
Seek record
To retrieve a specific record from the database, click on the binocular icon to bring up the Seek dialog box.

|

Seek next match
Searches forward in the database for the next matching record.
|
|
|

|
Seek previous match
Searches backward in the database for the previous matching record.
|
|
|

|
Next record
Move to the next record in the database.
|
|
|

|
Last record
Move to the most recently added record in the database.

Database mode
The database mode is displayed below the databar.

Description

Browsing
|
Data is displayed but cannot be edited. All other program functions are enabled.
|
Editing
|
Data may be edited. All other program functions are disabled until you click Save or Cancel.
|
Adding
|
Creates a new blank record. All other program functions are disabled until you click Save or Cancel.
|
Deleting
|
Deleting a record will permanently remove the record from the database. There is no way to recover a deleted record.
|
Empty
|
No record records have been entered and saved.
|
Delete
To delete a record, click the Delete button. Please note: this will permanently delete the currently displayed record.
