To retrieve a specific record from the database, click the seek icon on the databar to bring up the Seek dialog box:
Search spec
Enter the first few letters of a name in the Find input box then click the Find button. The first record in the database matching the Find specification will be displayed, if no matches are found a dialog will pop up to inform you.
Continue search
Because more than one record may match your search criteria, click on the find next or find previous icons to continue the same search.

Alternatively you can view an alphabetical list of all records and then select from the list.
