Aluminum

This tab is used to edit the aluminum content of various TPN components.

For electrolytes, the aluminum content is expressed in mcg per mEq, for other components, content is expressed in mcg per Liter.

Click on the Conversion tool icon to convert Aluminum content from mcg/L to mcg/mEq.

The default values represent a "worst-case" scenario, using the highest values found in the published literature.  You are advised to modify these values to match the TPN components that are used in your facility.
