TPN Type

The Type tab is the first step in TPN entry with the Wizard.

TPN Pathway

You may select a TPN pathway from the drop down list or you may choose to enter a TPN "from scratch". TPN pathways are maintained by you to help speed entry of commonly ordered TPN's.

Amino acid brand

Select the amino acid brand you wish to use from the drop down list.  Amino acid brands differ in their electrolyte content and thus will affect the final electrolyte tally.

Mix

Select a traditional or 3-in-1 admixture.

Infusion

Select continuous or cyclical infusion.

Route

Select the route of administration, central or peripheral.
