File menu

Discharge by date

Keyboard shortcut (none)

Function: Discharge patients by date (move to inactive database). Restricted to ADMIN account only.

Database maintenance

Keyboard shortcut: (none)

Function: Perform routine maintenance on the database tables.  Because this function is so powerful, it is restricted to ADMIN account only.

Edit database

Because the edit drugs functions are so powerful, they are restricted to ADMIN account only.

Drug models

Keyboard shortcut: (none)

Function: Add/edit/delete drug models. his function allows you to customize the pharmacokinetic drug models to fit your patient population(s).

Physicians

Keyboard shortcut:  (none)

Function: Add/edit/delete physicians.  This function allows you to manage physicians in the M.D. database

Users

Keyboard shortcut: (none)

Function: Add/edit/delete users. This function allows you to manage those who are authorized to have access to the program.

Import

Keyboard shortcut: (none)

Function: Import users or physicians from a spreadsheet, thus allowing you to add this data en masse.

Pack tables

Keyboard shortcut: (none)

Function: Pack database tables, a routine database maintenance function.  Should be performed at least monthly, as a routine preventative maintenance to prevent loss of data.

Population analysis

Keyboard shortcut: none

Function: Analyze drug models from your saved patient data.

Settings

Keyboard shortcut: none

Function: Edit program settings for all users.

Log out

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+O

Function:  Quickly log out without exiting the Kinetics program.  This feature, along with a strict PC security policy will help you comply with HIPAA.

Exit

Calculate hold time

Keyboard shortcut: none

Function: Calculate hold time, the time it takes for serum level to fall from a starting level to a target level.

Evaluate dose by weight

Keyboard shortcut: none

Function: Display the current dose in mg/kg and mg/kg/day.
